Always curious what people here think about this.

Real answers from people here are usually more useful than search results.

I am trying to make a decision and the usual sources are not giving me a straight answer. :'(

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same way?

Not sure that is the whole picture. Most people form opinions on things like this before the full picture is available.

I will keep following it.
ISA maxed. Costs minimised.

That is pretty much what I found too. Task Manager tells you most of what you need to know if you know which columns to look at.

Start there and see if it makes a difference.

Totally

That is pretty much it. Thanks for that. :P
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

VB

I bounced off it for different reasons. Some of the best games I have played were ones I picked up with zero expectations.

Still playing it tbh. :'(

That works until it does not. The key is not to change too many things at once or you will not know what actually fixed it.

QuantumKnight

That matches what the more reliable sources are saying. More to come on this I suspect.

Pretty much where I landed after trying a few things. I always start with the free and non-destructive fixes before considering anything drastic.

Should sort it if the basics are fine.

Worked for me too. Not a life changer but it adds up.

That is pretty much it. Appreciate it. :D

That is about where I am at. Let me know what you think.

Zero-Point

Seems like it from what I have seen. Worth watching closely.

I would only bother if the saving is real and not just headline nonsense. I have found that the biggest savings come from the boring stuff nobody wants to do.

I will keep an eye on it.
Lurker since the beginning

That is actually one of the clearer explanations I have seen. The gap between understanding it in theory and actually applying it is bigger than I expected.

Good to know, thanks.

TheRizz

Same here really. Appreciate the discussion.

Northernah

That is one way of looking at it. Totally get that.

Nice one. :P

Not worth cutting corners on that part. The materials are usually a smaller cost than the tools you need to work with them.

Let us know how it turns out.
