Large Discord communities are dealing with another wave of spam bots, fake accounts and phishing attempts. Moderators say attacks have become more organised and increasingly difficult to control.

Discord remains hugely popular because of its flexibility, but moderation challenges continue scaling alongside user growth. Community management online is becoming a full time job for many volunteer moderators.
