What is a show everyone loves that you personally just couldn't get into

[Luca76]

Everyone raves about a certain critically beloved drama and I've genuinely tried three separate times to get through the first season and just cannot connect with it despite understanding intellectually why people love it

Not looking to start a fight about anyone's favorite show specifically, more curious about that particular experience of watching something universally praised and just not clicking with it yourself

[TheGame_Fan]

A hugely acclaimed prestige drama everyone insists gets better after season two, I've never made it past episode four and I don't think I ever will at this point

[CosmicRay91]

A beloved sitcom that's constantly quoted around me and I don't find funny at all, watched several episodes waiting for the appeal to land and it never did

[Drifter]

A critically adored fantasy series everyone says is the greatest show ever made, tried hard to get into it and just found the pacing unbearable

[NicholasCleverley]

A widely loved sci-fi show that everyone insists is profound, and to me it just reads as slow and self indulgent despite multiple honest attempts

[Solid Gary]

A universally beloved animated series that apparently works on multiple levels for adults, and I just cannot connect with it the way everyone around me clearly does

[WaveFunction]

A critically praised limited series everyone insisted was a masterpiece, watched the whole thing out of stubbornness and still don't understand the widespread acclaim

[Wrench]

Game of thrones for me

[Clever Erin]

A hugely popular teen drama everyone was obsessed with, tried it purely out of curiosity and found the writing difficult to sit through
