Here is an open thread for whatever you are watching at the moment. It could be a new series, an old box set you are rewatching, a film you saw at the weekend or a reality show you are slightly embarrassed to admit you love. With so many streaming services and channels, it is easy to miss good things. Recommendations from people with similar tastes are often the best way to find something new

Autumn is traditionally a busy time for television in the UK. Strictly Come Dancing and The Great British Bake Off are back, along with the usual quiz shows and new drama series. Streaming services are also releasing big shows ahead of the winter, when people spend more evenings indoors. There is no shortage of choice, only a shortage of time

I am rewatching Detectorists for about the fifth time. It is the most gentle and beautiful sitcom I know, and the autumn colours in the countryside suit the season perfectly. I am also working my way through a new crime drama that a friend recommended, though I am only two episodes in. No spoilers, please

Please mention where you are watching it and whether you would recommend it. Short reviews are welcome, but please mark spoilers clearly. This could become a regular thread if people find it useful
