The Bear returns for its final season in June 2026. Season 2 was one of the most acclaimed TV seasons in recent years, though season 3 split opinions pretty sharply. The show has always been about more than the restaurant. Carmen's mental state, the family dynamics and the question of whether any of them can actually be happy are the real threads that need resolving. What ending does The Bear deserve?

Season 3 lost me a bit if I am honest. The bottle episodes that worked brilliantly in season 1 started feeling like a formula. Hoping they bring it back to basics

Carmen not being okay at the end is the only honest ending this show can have. The whole point is that brilliance and self-destruction are the same thing in him

Richie's arc has been the best character journey on the show by a mile. Whatever happens to the restaurant, he needs a good ending
Football is life. Everything else is just details.

The restaurant should fail. That is the show being honest about what it has been building. Turning it into a success story would be a betrayal of everything season 1 was about

I want Sydney to go and do her own thing. She has been holding other people's dreams together for too long
ISA maxed. Costs minimised.

After Succession, The Wire and Breaking Bad I have learned to trust a show that knows what it is. The Bear knows what it is. I am not worried
