People saying they are tired of Spider-Man confuse me a little. We have had many versions of Batman too, and nobody acts like the character is finished. Good characters can be reinvented.

That said, the movie does need to bring something new. Repeating old emotional beats forever would get boring.

The trailer looks like it might be trying to find that middle ground. Familiar enough to feel like Spider-Man, but different enough to justify another movie :)
