Netflix wants to help you stop scrolling endlessly. TechCrunch reports that Netflix is testing an AI Discover tab that recommends shows and films based on your mood

The experimental tab works as a test kitchen for discovery features. Users can pick clip based themes such as something light, scare me, family movie night and quick watches

A Tune Your Recommendations button sits next to Play and My List, and a something different option resets the suggestions. Netflix says the feature runs on a new intelligence layer that responds in real time

The rollout starts in the US for English language users on TVs, with a red Discover button in the top navigation, and more users will get it in the coming weeks. Netflix said what sounds right for a quiet night in may look different for family movie night or a few spare minutes

Decision fatigue is a real problem on streaming services, and many people spend longer choosing than watching. Mood based picks feel more natural than genres. If it works well, other streaming services will copy it quickly

Would you use a mood based recommendation tab? And how long do you usually spend choosing what to watch?
