Luke Littler says he will not go easy on anyone in his new Netflix show. The Press Association's Jonathan Veal, writing for the Express and Star, reports on Beat Luke Littler, which is hosted by Gary Lineker and Richard Osman and airs next Friday

The format is simple and dramatic. Twenty amateur players each get one leg against Littler. He has to win all 20 in a row, and the first amateur to check out before him wins 501,000 pounds

Getting on the show was not easy. Contestants had to check out a 501 leg in 24 darts or fewer and win the approval of Phil Taylor, with producers making the final selection. That should mean every challenger is a decent player

Littler was clear about his approach. He said there is half a million quid up for grabs and he will not be going easy at all. He also hopes the show will bring new fans to darts

Twenty legs in a row against strong amateurs is a real test even for a two time world champion. One bad leg is all it takes. It sounds like great television, and a nice showcase for the sport

Will Littler win all 20 legs? And would you want to try your luck against him?
