Personally I'm hopeful about stories genuinely adapting to individual viewers without losing the craft and intentionality that makes great writing actually work. Choose your own path formats currently feel a little gimmicky, but the underlying idea seems genuinely promising once the execution catches up. Interactive storytelling actually maturing into something with real narrative weight rather than just a novelty gimmick feels genuinely exciting to imagine. Current attempts often sacrifice good writing for the sake of choice itself. A version that nails both at once would be genuinely groundbreaking

Global stories reaching audiences without the current translation and distribution barriers would let so many genuinely great creators finally get discovered outside their home countries. Subtitles and dubbing have improved a lot already honestly. Full accessibility feels like it's just a matter of time at this point
