Do you actually prefer watching a show weekly or binging the whole season at once

[Tel86]

Genuinely prefer weekly releases now after years of binging everything, something about the anticipation and actually discussing episodes with people in real time feels like a genuinely better experience overall

Curious how people actually feel about this now that both models genuinely coexist across different platforms

[Gary90]

Binge every time, weekly releases feel torturous when I'm actually invested in a story and just want to know what happens next

[Boar]

Weekly for me, binging leaves me with a weird empty feeling afterward, like I consumed something too fast to actually properly digest and enjoy

[ComputeNodeCanopy]

Depends entirely on the genre for me, comedy binges great in one sitting, prestige drama benefits from weekly pacing and real reflection time

[Weary Renegade]

Binging works better for my actual attention span, I forget plot details if there's too much time between episodes

[Hollow]

I binge but deliberately space episodes out myself over a few days, gets the control of pacing without waiting an entire week between each one

[Messi]

Weekly all the way, the actual online discussion and theorizing between episodes is honestly half the fun of watching a good mystery show

[HollywoodHogan92]

Weekly release revived appointment television for me in a way I didn't realize I missed until certain shows brought it back
