Apple raised the price of Apple TV in the US today, with the monthly plan going from 12.99 to 14.99 dollars and the annual plan jumping 20 percent from 99 to 119 dollars. Current subscribers get one month's notice before the new pricing kicks in. Apple One's individual bundle plan, which combines Apple TV with Apple Music, iCloud storage and Apple Arcade, is rising too, from 19.95 to 21.95 dollars monthly

This marks the fourth Apple TV price increase in four years, meaning the monthly cost has now roughly tripled since the service launched at 4.99 dollars back in 2019. Apple has reportedly been losing over a billion dollars annually on the streaming service despite genuinely strong critical reception for shows like Severance, so these hikes look like an attempt to push the service closer to actual profitability rather than treating it purely as a hook for other Apple products

Even after this latest increase, Apple TV still costs less monthly than several competitors like Netflix, Peacock and Disney Plus. Curious how people are actually responding to yet another streaming price hike this year specifically

Are you sticking with your current subscriptions or actively trimming down given how often these prices keep climbing. Genuinely curious what people's actual breaking point looks like
