With RTX 5090 cards almost impossible to find, two whole pallets of them have gone missing. PC Gamer's Andy Edser reports that Brazilian distributor Oderco says the Zotac cards disappeared after arriving at Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo

The company's chief executive, Oderco Matos, values the shipment at about 2.5 million reais at cost, which PC Gamer converts to roughly 495,000 dollars. Tom's Hardware's version puts it at around 470,000 dollars and estimates at least 63 cards

Oderco has not released arrival dates or tracking details. It says it has received no explanation from anyone involved, and went public on Instagram in the hope of getting answers

The timing makes the story even more striking. As we discussed recently, the RTX 5090 has disappeared from Nvidia's own store and sells for around 8,000 dollars or more on Amazon, even though Nvidia insists the card has not been discontinued

Whether this was theft or a logistics mix up, it shows how valuable these cards have become. A pallet of graphics cards is now a target worth stealing. Hopefully the distributor gets some answers soon

Theft or lost paperwork? And where do you think those cards will end up?
