Noni Madueke came off the bench to win the game for Arsenal at the City Ground. The Press Association's Jonathan Veal, writing for the Express and Star, reports that Madueke scored in the 80th minute to give Arsenal a 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest

Madueke replaced Eberechi Eze at half time, having recently been left out of the England squad. His goal came from a Declan Rice pass, with his shot deflecting off Jair Cunha into the far corner. Remarkably, it was Arsenal's only shot on target all game

Arsenal had other chances. Rice hit the bar from 12 yards in the 72nd minute, and Ezri Konsa made a vital stoppage time block to deny Liam Delap. The win lifts Arsenal to second, three points behind Manchester City

It was another tough afternoon for Forest. They have lost three league games in a row and sit in the relegation zone after seven matches. It was their third 1-0 home defeat, and they have not scored at home in five games in all competitions under Oliver Glasner

Arsenal did not play brilliantly, but title contenders win games like this. Madueke's response to his England omission was exactly what Mikel Arteta would want. Forest need goals quickly, or the pressure on Glasner will grow

Is Arsenal grinding out wins a sign of title winning quality? And how worried should Forest fans be?

I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong ;)
