VPN market is crowded sketchy and confusing. Every recommendation gets followed by someone claiming that service logs everything. Some VPNs are actually just malware dressed up. Others are legitimate but overpriced. Finding a trustworthy one requires research and skepticism. What are people actually using? Not influencer-sponsored recommendations not marketing. Real people running VPNs because they need them and they're satisfied. Also what are you using VPNs for? Public WiFi security? Privacy from ISP? Accessing geo-blocked content? The answer determines which VPN makes sense.

Mullvad because they don't require accounts. They accept crypto. Privacy-first design. No logs claims are more credible

ProtonVPN because it's from ProtonMail people who have credibility on privacy. Swiss jurisdiction. No logs claim is verifiable
