Instead it creates uncertainty and kills momentum. Five minute delays for offside decisions is absurd. The game has rhythm and VAR destroys it. Players don't know if they should celebrate. Crowds lose energy. Broadcasters don't know what to show. It's terrible. Rugby and basketball use VAR effectively because they have natural stoppages. Football is flowing game. VAR doesn't fit. Either give VAR 30 seconds or don't use it at all. This middle ground is worst option.
