11 days to June 11. The groups are chaos. France and Germany in the same group. Argentina vs Brazil in the groups. The USA and Canada in Group B together as co-hosts.

For a UK forum the England Group C draw with Senegal, Slovakia, and New Zealand is manageable but not comfortable. Senegal are AFCON champions with a Premier League-quality squad. Scotland are in Group H with Colombia, Ivory Coast, and Saudi Arabia.

What is your viewing plan and which fixture are you most looking forward to?

Argentina vs Brazil in the group stage. That is the fixture that has never happened before at a World Cup at that stage. Both will likely still progress but the match itself is once in a generation

France vs Germany is the fixture I want to watch most among the European giants in the same group. Two of the best squads in the world, neither can afford to slip up

IronFist66

Senegal vs England is the England fixture I am most concerned about. The Teranga Lions are legitimate contenders not a team England should be walking through

USA vs Canada as co-hosts in the same group is the geopolitical football fixture of the tournament. CONCACAF pride, host nation rivalry, full stadiums of mixed allegiances

Scotland in Group H with Colombia is the draw where Scotland need everything to go right. Colombia are dark horse contenders and Ivory Coast are dangerous. Getting out of that group would be remarkable

The 48-team format means there are groups where the third place game is meaningless because one team is already eliminated by match two. The scheduling mathematics create some awkward situations
