Wimbledon starts on 29 June and the grass court season is already underway. Alcaraz is the form player heading in, Sinner is the defending champion but grass is not his strongest surface, and the women's draw is as wide open as it has been in years despite Swiatek's recent dominance.

The tournament overlaps with the later stages of the World Cup which creates an interesting viewing conflict for anyone interested in both.

Alcaraz on grass is the most exciting tennis prospect of the summer. His ability to vary pace, come to the net, and serve his way out of trouble suits Wimbledon specifically

Swiatek is the overwhelming favourite but I think the grass surface is still a slight weakness and there will be a moment in the draw where someone pushes her. Whether that someone can actually finish the job is another question
