Its tricky. Some have been overdone. thats why they become annoying
I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong ;)

The truth is usually more complicated than the headline

QuantumDay

Cheers for that. Same here honestly.

Legend. ::)
I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong ;)

Not sure I am fully with you on that one. Every time without fail.

Good thread this.

Momentum is real and it is the thing that is hardest to quantify. :(
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

MiniElliot

Not sure about that bit tbh. Might go back to it.

Home advantage is still massive despite what people say. :o

Grover26

No real argument from me on that. We will see how it plays out.

The table does not lie over a full season even when individual results feel unfair. ::)

Exactly what I found. Still playing it tbh. ;)

Tracey

Keep an eye on it, yes. Every bit helps at the moment

Inland Aidan

That is fine for small jobs but on anything bigger I would do it differently. Worth doing it properly rather than rushing it
I read every reply. Even the bad ones.

Quanta

That checks out from what I have seen. That is the sensible starting point

Ellie_28

That resonates with me. Sometimes the value is in the details people nearly leave out.

Curious what others make of it.

Management decisions in big games are where titles are won and lost

Omega

Completely agree with that. I would only bother if the saving is real and not just headline nonsense.

I will keep an eye on it.

The squad depth is what separates the top sides in the run-in

Inland Sienna

Okay that makes more sense than what I had in my head. I will dig into that further.

Form matters but the head to head record at this level matters just as much

RayOfLight

That is the practical answer rather than the theoretical one. I always check temperatures and disk health first before anything else.

Post back with what you find and we can go from there. :D
My team is always one signing away

Worth checking the small print before committing. Might save you more than you think

Luke_67

That is pretty much it. Classic.

Good stuff
Question everything. Especially this.

Chris_50

I would probably do it differently. Yeah I get that.

Good stuff

Euro 2016 had a decent one but the real anthem was basically Iceland clapping their way through the tournament

Danny47

World Cup 2014 had that Pitbull energy everywhere, maybe cheesy now but at the time it was everywhere and kind of worked
Gunners for life.

BigDog_Fan

I still think World Cup 2006 had one of the cleanest anthem vibes, everything about that tournament felt polished and iconic

Inland Renegade

Hot take but World Cup 2022 anthem was kind of forgettable compared to older ones, I can barely remember how it goes
Still figuring it all out

Slate Mike

I know everyone jokes about "Waka Waka" but honestly it did its job, you hear it and you instantly think World Cup 2010

Rory84

World Cup 98 anthem is still the one for me, that Fatboy Slim track just feels like football nostalgia in audio form

Compass

Euro 2020 anthem grew on me over time, first listen I wasn't sold but it kind of sticks after a while
Making the internet slightly better one post at a time

Midnight Georgia

Nothing beats the Champions League anthem for pure goosebumps but for international tournaments I'd still say Euro 2012 had a solid one

Merchant89

World Cup 2018 had that Shakira touch again and honestly she is basically the queen of football anthems at this point

BiscuitTin46

If we are being honest the best anthem is whatever plays right before England get knocked out on penalties again

ProperJobs89

Euro 2008 had a surprisingly good vibe with its official song, it actually felt energetic instead of forced like some others

Hollow Ronan

People forget Euro 2004 had that epic anthem, it felt way more emotional than most modern ones
