Brendan Allen and Christian Leroy Duncan both made weight for tonight's five round middleweight main event at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, Sherdog reports. Allen came in at 186 pounds on the dot and Duncan at 185. The limit for a non title middleweight main event is 186. Neither headliner had any trouble

Allen is 27-7 and on a three fight winning streak. Duncan is 15-2 and on a five fight run that includes a win over Jared Cannonier. This is Duncan's first UFC headline fight, and he is an English fighter, so there will be plenty of interest here. A win over Allen would put him firmly in the rankings conversation

Three fighters missed weight on the card. Ismael Bonfim came in at 163.5 for his lightweight bout with Francisco Prado, which is 7.5 pounds over the limit. The UFC confirmed he forfeits 25% of his purse. Brendson Ribeiro weighed 208.5 for his fight with Felipe Franco, and Ketlen Souza weighed 117 against Loopy Godinez

Sherdog says all the fighters who missed will be fined a percentage of their purse if their bouts go ahead. Seven and a half pounds over is a big miss for Bonfim. It is the kind of miss that gives his opponent a real size advantage on the night. Prado could reasonably have walked away from the fight

The main card is on Paramount+ at 8pm Eastern, which is 1am here in the UK. Late nights for British fans, but worth it with Duncan in the main event. Allen is a tough, experienced test. If Duncan wins, he could be in a top 10 fight by the spring

Who wins Allen against Duncan? And should missing weight by over seven pounds lead to tougher penalties?

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Allen is a nightmare match up for a rising striker. He has a great submission game and loads of experience

Duncan's takedown defence will be tested hard. I fancy Allen by submission in the third

Experience counts in five round fights. Grappling could decide it
