Real Madrid came from behind to beat Roma 4-3 in the Champions League on Wednesday night, with three late goals in the 83rd, 85th and 90th minutes. Football365's Will Ford reports that the dramatic win came against the backdrop of a growing row over Vinícius Júnior

Before the game, Vinícius had been handed a four match domestic ban for pulling Nathan Saliba's hair in Real's 1-0 win over Villarreal. He received two games for violent conduct and two more for aggressively confronting the referee, when team mates had to hold him back

José Mourinho questioned the timing of the ban, announced just before a big European game. He suggested the authorities were targeting a Spanish club's player and said they had shown no shame. Vinícius was taken off on the hour against Roma

Mourinho said Vinícius's frustration was normal but criticised players who throw water bottles. He also admitted his first half set up was partly to blame for Roma's early dominance, with Soulé and Wesley causing problems. He complained about the fixture schedule as well, including a flight that landed in Athens at 5am before a tough game in Valencia

Three goals in the last seven minutes is the kind of comeback Real Madrid are famous for. Mourinho is never far from a headline, and this row will run for a while. On the pitch, though, Real showed they are never beaten until the final whistle

Was Vinícius's ban fair? And how does Real Madrid keep producing these late comebacks?
