Jake Paul will face kickboxing star Cédric Doumbé in Dubai on Christmas Eve

[Debbie80]

Jake Paul's Christmas Eve opponent has been revealed. Boxing News 24 reports that Paul will fight former two time GLORY welterweight kickboxing champion Cédric Doumbé at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on 24 December

The fight will be eight rounds at cruiserweight, with a 200 pound limit and ten ounce gloves. Doumbé has a boxing record of 1-0, an MMA record of 6-1 and a kickboxing record of 75-7-1 with 45 knockouts

Paul is 12-2 with seven knockouts, with wins over Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz and Julio César Chávez Jr. His last fight was against Anthony Joshua in December 2025

Press conferences are scheduled in Paris on 10 November and in Dubai on 12 November, and general ticket sales open on 15 November. Paul has already started the trash talk, while Doumbé says Paul has never faced anyone like him

Doumbé is an elite striker, but boxing is different from kickboxing, so this is an intriguing matchup. Paul has picked opponents from other combat sports before and done well. The Paris press conference should be lively

Who wins Paul against Doumbé? And should Paul fight a full time boxer next?
