Jake Paul has been medically cleared to return to the boxing ring, Sherdog reports. The news came from Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions. Paul broke his jaw when Anthony Joshua stopped him in the sixth round in December 2025. He needed surgery and then a second procedure in February

Now that he is cleared, Paul has posted a list of possible opponents from both boxing and MMA. It includes Canelo Alvarez, Ryan Garcia, Francis Ngannou, Conor McGregor, Sean Strickland, Nate Diaz, Tom Aspinall and KSI. That is quite a range, from the best boxer of his generation to a YouTube rival. Paul has always been good at keeping options open

Strickland is the name that links to a story we covered this week. The UFC middleweight champion said he might move up to 205 pounds to fight Paul because he is frustrated with UFC pay. Paul replied directly, saying he sees Strickland's texts but asking whether he is out of contract. Strickland is still under contract with the UFC, so that would be very complicated

The Joshua fight was a big moment in Paul's career. It was the first time he fought a proper elite heavyweight, and it ended badly. Many people thought he would retire after such a serious injury. Instead, he seems keen to get straight back to big events

Love him or hate him, Paul draws huge audiences. Any of the names on his list would sell. Tom Aspinall's name is a surprising one, given Aspinall is one of the UFC's top heavyweights with no pro boxing record. Canelo would be the biggest money fight, but also the most dangerous

Who should Jake Paul fight next? And would you watch Paul against Strickland if it could happen?
