Group G is the most dramatic group in the tournament right now. Belgium drew with Iran. New Zealand and Egypt are playing as we speak. By the time the final round comes around every single team will have two points if New Zealand and Egypt draw tonight. Belgium need to beat New Zealand. Iran need to beat Egypt. New Zealand could beat Belgium. Egypt could beat Iran. All four teams can still top the group. All four can still go out. The permutations are genuinely complicated. Belgium are the big name team who should be out of sight by now but somehow aren't. Iran have been solid. New Zealand were brilliant against Iran in game one. This group is a mess in the best possible way.
Come on you Reds.

The group that has everything. A red card. Seven saves. Zero Belgium goals. Equal points. Chaos.

Belgium fans must be absolutely terrified going into the final round against New Zealand
git commit -m "fixed everything"

Iran second in the group after two games is not something anyone had on their bingo card

New Zealand against Iran was 2-2 in game one. They're not minnows. This group is genuinely open

If Belgium go out at the group stage with De Bruyne and Lukaku and Trossard it's one of the tournament's great collapses

ProperJobs98

Egypt and New Zealand playing right now. Both desperate. Both capable. This could go anywhere

ReplyGuy26

The final round has Belgium vs New Zealand and Iran vs Egypt simultaneously. Must-watch television

Iran's coach said both teams deserved to win against Belgium. He wasn't wrong

Group G being completely level on points going into round three is statistically unusual and dramatically perfect

Rough Reece

Whoever tops this group probably gets an easier knockout draw. That makes the final round even more important
