Germany demolished Curacao 7-1 in first match. Now they face Ivory Coast who have legitimate talent and organization. This is first real test for Germany. Ivory Coast isn't pretending to be a football nation they're actually trying to qualify. They beat Ecuador 1-0. Germany probably wins but this isn't guaranteed dominance anymore. Ivory Coast can hurt Germany if Germany gets complacent. This match determines if Germany is tournament favorite or pretender. Dominant first match was great but real opponents are coming. Ivory Coast is real opponent. Germany's performance tells us everything about their chances.

Germany's 7-1 was against weak opponent. Ivory Coast is completely different level. This is the real test

TheRock96

Ivory Coast can compete with anyone if they're organized. Defensive discipline and quick transitions are their game
Normal is overrated

NeutrinoX74

Germany's midfield should dominate. That's where matches are won. If Germany controls midfield they win

DeepCourier

Ivory Coast is hungry. They're not in World Cup for tourism. Germany might underestimate them

The physicality could be issue. Ivory Coast plays hard. Germany sometimes prefers technical play. Bodies matter
