Fallon Sherrock has pulled off another famous win. DartsNews reports that she won £501,000 by beating Luke Littler on Netflix's Beat Luke Littler event in Manchester

The format saw Littler face 20 challengers one after another, each over a single leg, with £501,000 on offer for anyone who could beat him. Sherrock got her place through a fan vote, winning 75 percent of the vote against Jarod Becker

She won the bull to throw first, opened with a ton, hit a 180 to leave 43 and then checked out to win. Barry Hearn said she took 14 darts, although one report says 15. Earlier, Littler had survived when Pearse Mackle missed the bull for the money, and reports say his average dropped from around 100 to 80 as the night went on

Earlier challengers included Taylon Forrester, two 14 year olds, Jayden Walker and Makinley Cooper-Johnson, jockey Zac Spain and Mark Pooke. Sherrock said it was insane, especially with her son Rory watching, as it was the first time he had been to one of her events and he saw her win. She added that if you give her an opportunity, she is going to take it every time

Sherrock has a knack for big moments, from her World Championship wins over men in 2019 to this. A single leg format is always a lottery, but she still had to produce a near perfect leg against the world number one. Having her son there to see it makes it extra special

Is a single leg format fair? And what does this win mean for Sherrock's career?
