Daniel Dubois could be back in the ring in February. Boxing News 24 reports that promoter Frank Warren plans another fight for the WBO heavyweight champion early next year, following his two round stoppage of Fabio Wardley at The O2

Warren is keeping a close eye on WBC champion Agit Kabayel, who defends his title against Nelson Hysa in Germany on 28 November. That event has reportedly sold around 43,000 to 44,000 tickets. A Dubois and Kabayel unification fight would be a big draw

Nothing is signed yet, and the timing is tight. A gap of only about ten weeks between late November and February would be quick for Kabayel to turn around for such a big fight

There is also IBF champion Filip Hrgovic, who was ringside at The O2 and wants a rematch. Dubois has already beaten Hrgovic, but the Croatian clearly believes he can turn it around. Warren says Dubois wants big fights and big paydays

Dubois is in the form of his life, and unification fights are what fans want to see. With Fury and Joshua meeting in December, British heavyweight boxing could have an enormous 2027. Keeping busy while in peak form makes sense

Who should Dubois fight next? And can anyone stop him on this form?

February is quick after a late November fight. Kabayel might need more time. April seems more realistic. Recovery time matters at heavyweight. Rushing a big fight helps nobody
