The fallout from Manchester United's heavy defeat at Como has continued. Football365's Steve Pearson reports on a striking interview that captain Bruno Fernandes gave to Sky Italy after the 4-1 loss

Fernandes, who has now gone six games without a goal or an assist, was unhappy at being substituted, saying nobody likes to leave the pitch. He blamed Como's man to man pressing for causing United problems

He also made a broader point about the club, saying everyone at United must understand that it is no longer the same. Michael Carrick apologised to the travelling fans, calling the performance a huge disappointment, and said he did not agree with Fernandes but that United are currently very far from the level needed

The article notes United have won only two major trophies in eight seasons. Football365 also reports that Carrick could reportedly face the sack if United lose to Bournemouth on Sunday, after collecting just seven points from seven league games

After Lisandro Martinez and Harry Maguire, Fernandes is the latest senior player to speak out publicly. That suggests real frustration inside the squad. Sunday's game against Bournemouth now looks enormous for Carrick

Is Fernandes right to speak out? And should Carrick survive if United lose to Bournemouth?
