Video review technology arrived promising fairness and mostly delivered arguments instead. Every fan has an opinion, and most of those opinions involve some amount of frustration regardless of which team benefited on any given night

Ten years from now, once the technology's inevitably been refined or replaced by something else entirely, how does this specific era get remembered, a necessary growing pain on the way to something better, or a genuinely regrettable stretch that made the sport worse to actually watch

Curious what people think, does the frustration fade once it's history, or does it stay a genuine sore spot

Necessary growing pain, painful in the moment but the sport probably ends up fairer for it eventually
Tapped out by my own semicolon again

Regrettable stretch, it sucked genuine spontaneity out of celebrations that used to feel completely unfiltered
Not financial advice. Not medical advice. Just vibes.

Fades with distance honestly, most controversies feel smaller once the actual outcomes stop mattering

Stays a sore spot for anyone who lived through a specific bad decision affecting their own team directly

Sandra_29

Growing pain for the sport, genuine sore spot for supporters who had a title decided by one specific call

Depends entirely on what replaces it, if the next version is worse this era gets remembered more kindly
