Quantinuum is one of the bigger full stack quantum computing companies, and its hardware is based on trapped ion quantum computers rather than superconducting chips. The simple version is that it uses charged atoms as qubits, with a focus on high fidelity gates, all to all connectivity and a route toward fault tolerant machines. It also has software such as TKET and quantum cybersecurity tools, so it is not just a hardware story.

Trapped ion feels slower to scale, but the quality looks strong.

I like that they have hardware and software under one roof.

The all to all connectivity is the bit that interests me most.

Still early days, but this is one of the serious players.
