The prediction is bold, but I would not put money on the phrase "working quantum computer" being universally accepted by then. There are already working quantum computers in the sense that they execute quantum circuits; the missing piece is dependable, large-scale, fault-tolerant performance.

A more realistic headline might be: "First commercially valuable quantum workload demonstrated." That could happen before 2027 ends, especially in chemistry or optimisation. The marketing departments will call it a revolution, while engineers will quietly read the error bars.
