House rules to keep it functioning properly, one sentence per post, reply to the most recent addition so the story does not fork into chaos, keep it clean enough for the front page, and resist the urge to write a compound sentence stuffed with commas to sneak in extra plot, the spirit of the rule matters more than the letter of it
