One by Metallica. Keeping the rock theme going after November Rain, and this one has that slow build before everything explodes. A pretty fitting choice for a song title game because you can almost hear the opening before reading the rest of the title :)
Piano Man by Billy Joel. Had to sneak in a classic here. That harmonica intro and the whole barroom story make it one of those songs where everyone knows at least part of the chorus.
Queen of Hearts by Juice Newton. Q is always the troublemaker in these alphabet games, so finding a decent one deserves respect. Not the easiest letter, but this one works nicely.
Rocket Man by Elton John. Another legend enters the list. Elton has so many possible picks that choosing just one feels unfair, but this is such an iconic title.
Sweet Child o' Mine by Guns N' Roses. Probably an obvious answer, but sometimes the obvious choice is obvious for a reason. That guitar intro is permanently stored in everyone's brain ;D
Take On Me by A-ha. The music video alone deserves a mention here. Somehow a song from the 80s still feels fresh, and that chorus is impossible not to sing along with.
Under Pressure by Queen and David Bowie. Great collaboration and a brilliant bassline. U was looking a bit lonely, so this one gives it some serious star power.
Viva La Vida by Coldplay. One of those songs where the melody feels huge from the first few seconds. Also a reminder that Coldplay have been around much longer than people sometimes remember.
Wonderwall by Oasis. The song that has probably been played on more guitars at parties than any other. Some people love it, some people roll their eyes, but everyone knows it ;) Made popular with Harry Kane & England at the Fifa World Cup 2026 games singing after matches. What a shame England didnt get through as Oasis may have performed it
X Gon' Give It To Ya by DMX. X is the final boss of these alphabet threads, so respect to any song that actually fits. Not many artists have a memorable X title.
For 'Y' - Yellow by Coldplay. Another Coldplay appearance, but Y does not exactly have a giant list of famous contenders. Still a beautiful track and one of their biggest early hits
