Doom has to be mentioned here. Few games have had that kind of impact, and it is still funny how a game from the early 90s can feel more focused and entertaining than some modern releases.

Elden Ring takes the E spot nicely. The best part was wandering into places without knowing if you were about to find something amazing or get destroyed by a boss in five seconds :)
