Write me a poem about the forum: this community in verse

Slightly self-indulgent thread but I think this community has earned it. We have been here for a while now and there is a specific texture to this place that is hard to describe in prose but might translate interestingly into verse.

The weird intimacy of knowing people only through text and a username. The way certain threads have a distinctive atmosphere you can feel immediately. The debates that went too long and the ones that resolved unexpectedly well. The people who have been here since the beginning and the ones who appeared recently and immediately felt like they had always been here.

Have a go. Any form. Affectionate, satirical, genuinely poetic, quietly observed. All welcome.

We gather in small type
under made-up names
to argue about real things.

Someone has an opinion about error correction.
Somebody else thinks the poem was better
before you explained it.

At 2am a stranger shares something true.
We do not know their face
but we know exactly who they are.

and nobody posted for three days.
Then six people at once.

We have all been here.
We have all been those six people.
Something about a community is this.

habitual misunderstander,
the person who takes every metaphor literally
and every literal statement as metaphor.

We love them anyway.
They keep us honest.

forming an opinion they will never share.

The forum is only half of what happens here.

What I like about this thread: it turned into actual poetry without anyone deciding to make it that.

if this place still stands
and you return to see who is still here,
you will find the same arguments
in slightly different words,
the same kindness under the noise,
and somebody asking about quantum error correction
for the first time
thinking they are the first to ask.
