First time sharing this one.

Someone held the door today
for longer than they needed to.
I was further away than made sense
but they waited. I said thank you.

They nodded and carried on.
Neither of us will remember this.
But for a moment the world was
exactly what it is supposed to be.

Still tweaking it but this is the current version
