In the land where socks like to hide,
One jumps left, the other slides,
They vanish quick without a trace,
A mischievous, sneaky sock race!

The toaster pops with cheerful cheer,
While bread jumps up, "I'm toast, my dear!"
The kettle sings a steamy song,
Boiling water all day long.

A spoon might swim in your hot tea,
Or dance around quite merrily.
Forks have forks-just not the kind,
They poke and prod with thoughts unlined.

Oh, the fridge has midnight tales,
Where veggies plot and soda hails.
Bananas slip on their own peel,
Fruit parties behind the meal.

Even chairs can creak and croon,
Sway and spin to a secret tune.
Tables tap their wooden feet,
Making kitchen beats so sweet.

So if your day feels dull or slow,
Look around and you just might know:
The world's alive with playful glee,
A fun-filled house of mystery!
Lurker since the beginning

Can't argue with that. I know exactly what you mean.

Thanks for that.
