Apple's WWDC 2026 keynote starts today Monday June 8 at 6pm BST (10am PT) at Apple Park, Cupertino. It is Tim Cook's last keynote as CEO after 15 years. The conference theme is 'All Systems Glow'.

Expected announcements based on confirmed leaks and reporting from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman and MacRumors:

iOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, iPadOS 27 - all receiving Liquid Glass refinements with an opacity slider to address readability complaints from iOS 26.

Siri 2.0 - fully rebuilt on Google Gemini's 1.2 trillion parameter model via Apple's Private Cloud Compute. Siri becomes a dedicated app with conversation history synced across devices. Drop-down from the Dynamic Island replaces the glowing orb. Third-party AI handoff to Claude and ChatGPT if installed.

iPhone 11 loses iOS 27 support - that is the confirmed device cut.

Snow Leopard approach - stability, battery life and bug fixes prioritised over new features across the OS family.

Possible hardware: Apple TV update, HomePod mini refresh. M5 Mac Studio and Mac mini likely delayed due to RAM supply constraints.

The Snow Leopard framing is exactly what iOS needs after the Liquid Glass divisiveness in 2025. A stability and performance year with a genuinely transformed Siri is actually a more compelling pitch than another round of visual design experiments

Tim Cook's final keynote is the end of one of the most commercially successful runs in corporate history. He took Apple from $350 billion to over $3 trillion and leaves having just made the most consequential AI partnership in mobile history. Whatever you think of the AI strategy the numbers are extraordinary
