Depends on the story really. A quick update is great when it is just a product launch or a simple announcement, but anything involving security, AI or major industry changes deserves more than three paragraphs and a flashy headline.

Too many sites now write a title, add two sentences and call it analysis. That is basically a snack pretending to be dinner.

Short updates are useful for keeping track of what is happening, especially during a busy day.

The problem comes when people only consume the short version and then think they understand the entire situation.

A little context can prevent a lot of bad takes flying around.
