I know every quantum security story sounds dramatic, but a US Air Force deal for software simulating secure communications in contested environments feels pretty real. This is not some consumer app or investor pitch. Military communication under jamming, interference and limited bandwidth is exactly where secure quantum related tools start to sound practical. Also, the timing before a Nasdaq listing is interesting, because good defence contracts do not hurt the story. Is quantum secure communication becoming an actual defence priority now?

Military use cases make sense before consumer use cases. Security, communications and resilience are exactly where governments will spend first
It's only banter... mostly

The Nasdaq timing is not subtle. Nothing makes a quantum company look more serious than a defence contract

I still want to know how much of this is true quantum advantage and how much is simulation and planning software around quantum ideas

Contested communications is a real problem, so at least this sounds grounded compared to vague 'revolutionise everything' claims

Defence money can accelerate useful research, but it also means a lot of this tech may stay invisible to the public for years

Quantum security is one of the few areas where waiting until the problem arrives would be stupid

I am already tired of every quantum announcement being attached to a listing or funding round, but this one does seem meaningful
