Oasis have officially confirmed Oasis Live 27, a full world tour kicking off in Glasgow on May 21 that will take the band through Manchester, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas, and Slane Castle before culminating in four nights back at Knebworth in September, almost exactly thirty years after their legendary two night stand at the Hertfordshire venue in August 1996. Those original shows drew around 250,000 fans and roughly 2.5 million ticket applications, becoming one of the defining cultural moments of the entire Britpop era and later getting their own documentary, Oasis Knebworth 1996.

The band's announcement leaned fully into their trademark bravado, opening with start the celebrations and describing themselves, quoting a Guardian opinion piece back at the paper, as the most damaging pop cultural force in recent British history that has declared itself fit for purpose once again. This new tour marks the band's first return to mainland Europe since their 2025 reunion run, along with several US cities they skipped entirely during that earlier trek, and comes hot on the heels of Don't Look Back in Anger, a documentary about the 2025 reunion that premiered at Venice and earned strong reviews for its emotional portrait of the band's fans, though it notably steered clear of the ticket pricing controversy that dogged that same tour.

That pricing controversy is clearly shaping how this new tour gets handled though. Standing tickets for the 2025 reunion shot up from £148.50 to more than £350 once cheaper tickets sold out, triggering a formal investigation by the UK's Competition and Markets Authority. For 2027, prices are listed between £71.50 and £266.60, and changes secured by that CMA investigation mean fans must now get 24 hours notice if tiered dynamic pricing gets used at all, with affected tickets clearly specified and live price ranges actually displayed to fans while they wait in the online queue.

There is no general sale planned for this tour at all, with fans instead required to register directly through the Oasis website by 4pm BST on September 17 as part of a system organisers say is specifically designed to reduce both queuing chaos and touting. The 2025 tour's economic impact was genuinely substantial too, with UK Music estimating the band's five Heaton Park shows alone pushed music tourism spending in the north west up 16 percent year on year to £1.4 billion, and Oasis are separately rumoured to be headlining Glastonbury's own 2027 return after the festival's fallow year in 2026
