Streaming algorithms are good at feeding us endless recommendations, but sometimes they also trap people inside the same safe little musical bubble.

A recommendation from an actual person often carries more excitement because there is emotion behind it. Someone saying you need to hear this still feels more meaningful than an app guessing your mood.
