It is strange how many people turn toward sad music instead of away from it. You would think heartbreak songs or melancholic albums would deepen a bad mood, but often they make people feel understood instead.

Maybe music works best when it reflects emotion honestly instead of trying to force positivity.

Do sad songs comfort you when life feels heavy, or do you prefer music that tries to pull you out of the mood completely?
