A lot of modern tracks seem designed to reach the hook immediately and finish before attention disappears. Streaming rewards replay value, so shorter songs make commercial sense.

But sometimes I miss songs that breathe a little more. Longer intros, instrumental sections, and slower build ups used to create anticipation instead of rushing straight to the catchy part.

Do you think modern songs are becoming too short, or is tighter pacing actually an improvement?

Some songs end just as they are getting interesting now

Streaming definitely changed how songs are structured

I miss proper guitar solos and instrumental sections in mainstream music

A short song can still be brilliant if it feels complete

There is a balance. Not every song needs to be six minutes long either
Not financial advice. Not medical advice. Just vibes.
