The no skip album is nearly extinct. Streaming trained everyone to cherry pick singles, and artists responded by front loading records with three hits and an hour of filler. But some albums remain complete journeys where the track order itself is part of the art

My test is strict, if I ever reach for the skip button, even once, even on track nine, the album is out. Great albums with one weak song are still great albums, they just do not belong in this particular hall of fame

Name yours and defend it, because someone here will absolutely tell you that track seven is filler. That is the game and we play it with love
It's only banter... mostly

I will start the fight, plenty of so called classic albums have an obvious skip that fans pretend not to notice

Naming no names is cowardice, this thread runs on names

Fine, most double albums. Nearly every double album is one perfect single album wearing a coat

PowerhouseHobbs_Fan

The double album take is strong and I hate how much I agree

Does a short album count? Feels like cheating to be skipless across eight tracks versus fourteen

Length absolutely matters, a skipless 70 minute record is a monument, a skipless half hour is a nice EP

Question for the room, do interludes count as skips? Because I always skip interludes
Posted from a machine that definitely needs a clean install

Interludes are load bearing! Skipping them is like removing mortar and wondering why the wall of the album falls over
