AI stocks are exciting because the spending is real, but that does not mean every AI-linked company is a bargain. The big cloud and platform names, including Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, and Nvidia, are spending heavily on AI infrastructure, while semiconductor and data-centre suppliers are trying to capture that demand too. A sensible article would ask whether investors are buying genuine long-term earnings growth or just paying a high price for a fashionable story

The safer way to discuss AI stocks is probably by layers: chips, cloud, software, data centres, and end-user applications. That avoids pretending one stock is the whole AI market

Nvidia is the obvious name, but obvious does not always mean cheap. The valuation question matters as much as the technology

I would include Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, and Meta because they have real businesses underneath the AI spending, not just a pitch deck

This topic needs a strong warning about hype. AI may be real, but overpaying for a real trend can still hurt investors
