Imagine it quietly reviews every notification it just delivered, wondering which ones I'll actually read versus dismiss instantly without a glance. Some kind of small performance review happening in the dark. Probably not thrilled with my usual response rate honestly

Counting down until the next time I inevitably check it within about ninety seconds regardless of intention feels about right too. Phones probably know their owners better than owners know themselves at this point. That dark screen rarely lasts very long around here honestly

Probably just sits there patiently glowing faintly warm from being used, like a small animal catching its breath after running around all day. That warmth always feels oddly personal somehow. Gone within a minute once it cools down completely
