Does anyone still use an Ipod?

I still use an old iPod Classic, but mostly because I am stubborn and have thousands of tracks already organised on it. Rebuilding that library on another device would be a chore.

It is also fantastic for long car trips. I have a cable in the glovebox, plug it in and have basically every album I might want without messing around with phone reception.

The downside is that modern car systems do not always play nicely with older players. Sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes the car seems deeply confused by the existence of a 30-pin connector.

The other issue is remembering to charge it. I once took it on holiday assuming it had plenty of battery left and discovered halfway through the flight that it was basically a very expensive paperweight.

Still, once it is charged, it does exactly what I need. No updates, no pop-ups and no software deciding that I have to log in again.
