Apple is getting ready to launch new products next week. MacRumors' Juli Clover reports that marketing chief Greg Joswiak posted that he cannot wait to pro and tell next week. The wordplay strongly hints at new Pro devices

The announcements are expected on Wednesday 28 October. Media have been invited to an in person experience in Los Angeles starting at 10am Pacific time, and press releases may go out at the same moment. That follows the format Apple used for recent launches, with hands on time instead of a big keynote

The rumoured line up is exciting. It includes an OLED touchscreen MacBook Pro, an entry level M6 MacBook Pro, an M6 iMac and an OLED iPad mini. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has said the OLED MacBook Pro and other devices could go on sale on Friday 6 November

A second MacRumors piece argues that the pro and tell tagline suggests the touchscreen Mac will keep the MacBook Pro name, rather than the MacBook Ultra name some had rumoured. That would make sense, because the Pro brand is already strong and well understood

A touchscreen Mac would be a big change in Apple's thinking, given how firmly it resisted the idea for years. OLED displays across more products are also welcome, with better contrast and colour. It should be an interesting launch week

Would you buy a touchscreen MacBook Pro? And which rumoured product are you most interested in?

OLED on a MacBook Pro will look stunning. Deep blacks and better HDR suit creative work. I am tempted already

Battery life is my question. OLED can be efficient with dark content but hungry with bright screens. Reviews will tell
