AndroidGuys' Scott Webster has a weekend roundup of five gadgets that he says earn their place in your daily routine. It is a nice mix of practical tech rather than gimmicks. Prices range from $59.99 to $179.99. A couple of them are clever enough to be worth a closer look

The Govee TV Backlight 3 at $109.99 wraps LED lights around your TV and uses two AI powered cameras to read what is on screen and mirror the colours in real time. The OneOdio A70 Gen 2 headphones start at $59.99 and offer wireless and wired listening, Hi-Res audio, dual device Bluetooth and up to 72 hours of battery. Webster says they punch way above their price. That is a lot of battery for budget headphones. Battery life on cheap headphones has improved enormously in recent years

The UGREEN MagFlow Pro is a 10,000mAh magnetic power bank at $149.99 that supports 25W Qi2 wireless charging, uses liquid cooling and recharges at 45W over USB-C. The Comu Action Pro at $179.99 is a pocket AI recorder that turns conversations into emails, presentations and to do lists, with free transcription in 113 languages. And the Questyle QCC Dongle Pro2 at $99 is a USB-C Bluetooth transmitter supporting LDAC and aptX Lossless, so you can use good wireless headphones with consoles and other devices that lack decent Bluetooth

The Questyle dongle is the most useful for gamers. Consoles like the Switch and PlayStation have limited Bluetooth audio support, and a dongle like this fixes that. The AI recorder category is growing fast, though I would want to know where the recordings and transcripts end up before using it for meetings. Liquid cooling in a power bank is also a new one on me

Do any of these appeal? Has anyone tried one of these AI voice recorders? And is TV bias lighting worth it, or just a fun gimmick?
