QuantumDay

It was nice to meet everybody again
I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong ;)

QuantumKnight

It's true what they say about you

Quanta

Welcome to the as yet untitled unfinished non domaines as yet forum

Totally

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Quanta

Hello world! (Coding programmers joke)

VB

Kind of depends I think. I had a similar experience and it was better than I expected.

Might go back to it
The truth is usually more complicated than the headline

Fair enough. Good shout.

Good stuff

Same thing happened to me. Still playing it tbh

That is the conclusion most people following it closely are landing on. A lot depends on who is making the claim and what they are trying to sell alongside it.

I will update this thread if anything significant changes

Yep, agree with that. Proper useful that
I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong ;)

Quanta

Yes, and I would add that it is even more true if your hardware is older. I have fixed more machines by doing less than by doing the obvious dramatic thing.

Give it a go and report back. :o

Totally

Can't argue with that. Every time without fail.

Good thread this. ::)
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Totally

Not sure I am fully with you on that one. That is just how it is.

Nice one. ::)

That is worth it, agreed. Might save you more than you think
Making the internet slightly better one post at a time

Lucy05

Completely agree with that. The comparison sites are fine as a starting point but always go direct to confirm the terms.

Might save you more than you think
Measure twice, post once

Matticus

Cannot disagree with that. People forget that pressure affects players differently and the better sides handle it better.

Still think I am right on this

Agree completely, preparation is everything. Worth doing it properly rather than rushing it

NeonPilot

Same thing happened to me. The thing that keeps me going back is usually the atmosphere more than the mechanics.

Still playing it tbh

BlueFalcon

Agree with that, same experience here. Worked for me at least

Jeffy

Cannot really disagree with that. Might go back to it

Teal Sparrow

Sorted it the same way. Let us know how it turns out
Somewhere between inspired and overwhelmed

codeberg

I have had mixed results with that approach. I always check temperatures and disk health first before anything else.

Post back with what you find and we can go from there

Ann

Solid point, that matches what I ran into. A lot of guides overcomplicate it, usually one or two sensible changes do most of the work.

Happy to help further if you get stuck
RTFM and then ask

TheLegendBrett88

That is pretty much it. Good thread this. :'(

Leo29

Hi all, just wanted to acknowledge the intro and say welcome to anyone new reading this

Anvil79

Hey folks, it's refreshing to see a simple greeting thread without drama already

FrostBear

Hello all, I just joined today so this thread came at the perfect time

MJF

Hi everyone, looking forward to seeing what kind of discussions happen here

DarkMatter23

Hello, nice to meet you too, always good when a thread starts off with positive vibes like this
git commit -m "fixed everything"

error.404

Hi everyone, just here to say hello and see where the conversations go
// TODO: write better signature

Daemon82

Hey folks, not sure what else to say but hello from my side of the internet

Western Depot

Good to meet you all, hoping this turns into a long term community rather than a short lived one
Currently losing at something

Leo

Hey all, I'm new here as well so this feels like the right place to jump in and say hi

CarlosBuddle

Glad to see a proper introduction thread, makes it easier to know who's around and what people are into
Come on City

IronFist66

Hey everyone, I'm not great at introductions but hello anyway from me
All original content unless stated

Cole_25

Hello, just dropping in to say hi and hope everyone is having a good day

Sam92

Nice to meet you all, I'm mostly here to read but will probably jump in occasionally

ProperJobs89

Hello everyone, feels a bit like the early days of old forums when things were simpler

JohnyBlue

Hello all, seems like a good group so far and I'm glad I joined in
Long time lurker, first time poster

Harbour

Hey folks, simple message but hello and looking forward to interacting here
My team is always one signing away

Danny_21

Nice to meet everyone too, I usually lurk more than post but trying to be more active

Coder65

Hello there, hoping to learn a few things and maybe share some thoughts when I can
Normal is overrated

Owen73

Hey everyone, I never know how to introduce myself in these threads but here we are

Anvil

Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi back and welcome to the forum, seems like a friendly place so far
Not financial advice. Not medical advice. Just vibes.

HeartbreakKid_Fan

Hello everybody, hope this community stays as chill as it feels right now

SGHolly

Good to see everyone being polite for once, some forums can get pretty wild fast

Inland Sienna

Nice intro post, always easier when people start things off on a friendly note

PlanckLimit81

Hey everyone, I always find it funny how greeting threads can become the longest ones

QuietObserver13

Nice to see active introductions, it makes the place feel less anonymous straight away

ParallelSelf90

It does feel a bit grounding seeing familiar names again. Online spaces come and go so quickly these days that even a simple "hello everybody" carries a bit of weight.

I think there is something nice about returning to a place where conversations already have context instead of starting from scratch every time.

It makes the whole thing feel less like noise and more like continuity.
